Description

The second generation is also powered by the 2.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a modified maximum output of 270 kW (367 hp). The seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and the quattro all-wheel drive with Haldex clutch are used as standard.[4]
The market launch was on June 12, 2015. With the revision of the A3 in May 2016, the RS3 Sportback disappeared from the market for the time being, and Audi only presented the facelift at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017.[5]
At the Paris Motor Show in autumn 2016, Audi presented the RS3 as a four-door sedan. The 2.5-liter petrol engine is still used, which now has a maximum output of 294 kW (400 hp) like in the TT RS. This accelerates the sedan to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.[6] In August 2017, the vehicle went on sale together with the revised Sportback.
It is fitted with a turbocharged inline-5 TFSI engine producing 394 hp (294 kW) and 354 ft·lb (480 N·m) of torque. Its transmission, a dual-clutch seven-speed S-Tronic, was also used in the previous generation model.
