Citroen DS3 Racing 2011 Track

The Citroën DS3 is a premium compact car released in 2009. The platform and base mechanism is shared with the simultaneously announced C3, but the DS3 is the first car of the 'DS' series that, as a luxury car line-up differentiated from the 'C' series, was finished with a unique styling design and superior quality.

The DS3 was also the base for the machine that would replace the C4 WRC of Citroën in the World Rally Championships. The DS3 WRC that entered competition from 2011 won a double manufacturer and driver championship title victory with Sébastien Loeb at the wheel.

The previous year, at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the DS3 Racing car announced was a special model, developed by the competition department that races the WRC, so it gets its name from the development team.

The 1.6 litre direct injection turbo engine of the DS3 Sport Chic is boosted from 153 BHP / 24.5 kgfm to 204 BHP / 28.0 kgfm with additional work done to its turbo and exhaust system.
