With several technical improvements, the new model was perfectly prepared for the new Series. Developed according to the FIA GT1 regulations, the Murciélago R-SV is a puristic, driver focused, high performance GT-racecar. LAMBORGHINI AUTHORIZED TEAM With outstanding performance during the 2010 World Championship, the Murciélago R-SV #1064 driven by former Formula 1 pilot Riccardo Zonta and Youngster Frank Kechele, finished the season with 3 race wins, one second place, one third place, one pole position and one fastest lap.
THIRD PLACE OVERALL IN THE 2010 FIA GT1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The second generation of the REITER Murciélago racecar is equipped with the 6.5L naturally aspired V12 engine with a power output of 670 horsepower (unrestricted).
As required for the GT1 series the car features a Magneti Marelli engine management system. The R-SV comes with a six-speed sequential Holinger Gearbox and an updated version of the Holinger differential. Great handling is provided by the aero profile double wishbone suspension combined with five-way adjustable Öhlins dampers. FOCUS ON THE DRIVER Now, twelve years after the last official entry in the FIA GT1 World Championship, the cars are eligible for racing in historic motorsport events. In the “Endurace Racing Legends” class by Peter Auto, the Murciélago will race against its former competitors from Maserati, Aston Martin, Ford and Chevrolet.
