In Brazil, the Kwid has three trim versions, with the following contents (Year/Model 2022 - April Price) :
Zen: It has the basics of a popular car, air conditioning, four airbags, a digital dashboard with a rev counter, electric windows at the front but crank at the back and traction control as standard. (R$ 61.090).
Intense or Intense Pack Bitton: Like the Zen version, plus electric mirrors, fog lights, 8-inch screen for audio, navigator and maneuvering camera, electric trunk release, alloy wheels with hubcaps (very similar to the alloy wheels on the Outsider version) and folding key fob. (R$ 65,190.00 without the painted roof and R$ 67,890.00 with the roof painted in Piano Black).
Outsider: The top-of-the-line version of the Renault Kwid range. It has the same equipment as the Intense version, only it appeals to the “off-road” style. (R$68.690,00
After the fiasco in the GlobalNCAP Crash Test where the Kwid produced in India failed all three tests, Renault made a series of structural improvements to the model for South America, which resulted in an increase of 140kg. In addition, the model will be equipped with front and side airbags (which cover the head and thorax in a single bag) in all versions, something unheard of in the segment in Brazil. Other improvements include headrests for all occupants and an Isofix system for children. After the LatinNCAP test, the model obtained 3 stars, the maximum for models without traction and stability control.
