The Subaru Legacy RS WRC is a rally car built by Subaru World Rally Team based off of the first generation Subaru Legacy for the first 8 rounds of the 1993 World Rally Championship. This was also the first year that Colin McRae competed in every round of the WRC, but only won one event in the Legacy at New Zealand. At Rally Finland Subaru stopped using the Legacy and used the brand new Impreza 555. Colin McRae finished 5th in the Drivers’ Championship and Subaru finished 3rd in the Manufacturer’s Championship. The 1990 Legacy was also the first Group N car to finish the Safari Rally.
