Kobe Motor is one of many Toyota dealerships throughout the country. However, it is the most special. And that's because of its passion and dedication for motor racing. So much so that Kobe Motor organizes its own competitions, such as the Kobe Motor Cup of dirt rallies. This competition began in 2015 and has been a tremendous success, which is why Kobe Motorsport has seen fit to create a replica of the circuits carrying all the pillars that have made it a success: low costs, great mechanical reliability and maximum equality between drivers.
And so the Kobe Circuit Start Cup was born which, although it is called 'Start', is open both to young drivers who come from karting, and to veteran drivers who want to enjoy the races at an affordable cost. The Kobe Circuit Cup aims to revive those old mono-brand cups from the 90s, which for not a lot of money provided great fun for the drivers and a good show for the fans.

The vehicle used in the Kobe Start Cup is the same as in the Kobe Cup on land, but obviously with a different chassis configuration and different transmission development. It's a Toyota Aygo 1.0 that originally produces 69 HP, but with the electronic tweaks made by Kobe Motorsport, as well as a competition exhaust line, it can produce 78 HP at 6,500 rpm. The gearbox is standard, with the same development, so the top speed is just over 160 km/h. To ensure that no driver messes up with the power unit, Kobe Motorsport will provide it at every race.
The rest of the car has a basic set-up, which is ideal for keeping costs down. Tecnoshock suspension, EBC brake discs, Braid canopies, ARC anti-bike cage, QSP steering wheel, OMP paddle, a brake splitter, a fire extinguisher... and not much else. The only thing that riders can vary to adjust the car to their liking is the drop of the front wheels, as even the rear axle is standard, including the drum brakes. The tires, measuring 185/60 R14, are, of course, street tires.
