In February 2015, Volkswagen announced the new Jetta TSI lineup with visual touch-ups. The car has been given a style similar to that of its bigger brother the Passat.

The first mid-size sedan from a traditional brand to feature a turbocharged engine with direct injection in Brazil, now with this mid-life change the 2.0 TSI engine (the brand's acronym for combustion engines with direct injection and air supercharging) has been upgraded. This is a gasoline-powered engine with a turbocharger, four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing and more.

With the new features, the 2.0 TSI now has a more powerful version of the engine with 11 hp more, developing 211 horsepower, while torque has risen to 28.6 kgfm. To reach this figure, the car received some electronic improvements to its mechanics. As a result, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h was reduced by 0.1 s to 7.2 seconds....
