The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, also known as the Lancer Evo or just Evo, was a sports sedan manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors that is based on the normal Lancer. There have been ten official versions to date, and the designation of each model is most commonly a Roman numeral. All use two litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engines and all-wheel drive systems.<\/p>\n
This particular model is the Uk Only, FQ360 Model. The final swansong for the legendary 4G63 engine.<\/p>\n
If the standard evo’s 276-300 BHP just wasn’t enouigh for you, the top of the range FQ-360 is definitly for you. With power increased to 360 BHP thanks to a high pressure fuel pump and a high-flow catalytic converter from the FQ-400 and a full ECU remap.<\/p>\n
The power increase made the IX FQ-360 much more driveable than it’s FQ400 predecessor without sacrificing too much performance.<\/p>\n
Only 225 FQ-360’s were ever produced making it rarer than a Bugatti Veyron as a result, they are much more expensive than regular IX’s making them more and more desireable.<\/p>\n
