Mine\u2019s has been one of Japan\u2019s leading aftermarket specialists, with a particular focus on modifying the Nissan GT-R. Since the R32 GT-R debuted in 1989, Mine\u2019s has been continuously working its tuning magic on Nissan\u2019s high-performance sports coupe, and the firm\u2019s R34 Skyline GT-R N1 Base is arguably the firm\u2019s most impressive GT-R creation to date.<\/p>\n
At the heart of this machine is the RB26DETT inline-6, which has been completely rebuilt. To ensure the GT2350 turbine could withstand incredibly high boost pressures, Mine\u2019s installed its Complete Engine Stage II kit. These and other modifications boosted the Mine\u2019s GT-R\u2019s power output to a staggering 592 BHP and 433.9 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n
What was most impressive about this powertrain was that Mine\u2019s made it extremely driver-friendly, \u201cdelivering power exactly when you need it.\u201d The suspension was handled by the company\u2019s ESTA Suspension Professional Edition II, which consisted of a set of 12 kg\/mm springs up front and 10 kg\/mm springs at the rear.<\/p>\n
While some argued that the suspension was set too soft, Mine\u2019s maintained that this was the ideal setup to maximize traction and fully harness the car\u2019s power.
