We've seen tons of videos of modified RS 3s and mechanically similar TT RSs stomping competitors in quarter-mile races with just a few simple mods. This one, built by Iroz Motorsport in Las Vegas, Nevada, just set the record for quickest RS 3 in the quarter-mile.<\/p>\n<p>If this particular RS 3 looks familiar to you, it should. It's the same exact car Iroz brought to race against Ken Block's 1400-horsepower Hoonicorn in one of Hoonigan's drag racing videos shot last year. It's worth noting that this 1000-horsepower Audi actually beat the Hoonicorn in one of the runs (before ultimately losing in a best two out of three competition).<\/p>\n<p>With all that power and a set of fat drag radials, it was able to record a 7.989-second quarter-mile pass this past weekend at Famoso Raceway in McFarland, California, with a trap speed of 172 mph.
