Ideal for those seeking an aggressive yet controllable race car, the GT4.R is a true winning machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chevrolet is arriving fashionably late to the GT4 scene with a factory-built Camaro that\u2019s being sold as a turnkey race car.<\/p>\n<p>General Motors was eager to join the GT4 class, which already includes the Mustang as well as cars such as the Porsche Cayman and McLaren 570S (see page 30). \u201cGT4 is so closely tied to the production car that it gives us a wonderful showcase to demonstrate what the Camaro can do,\u201d says program manager Shawn Meagher.<\/p>\n<p>The Camaro GT4.R features several motorsport upgrades\u2014an Xtrac six-speed sequential transmission and limited-slip differential, two-way adjustable \u00d6hlins dampers, a front splitter, a rear wing, and so on.
