The 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI represents the final and most refined iteration of the legendary GDB chassis. Known to enthusiasts as the \u201cHawk Eye,\u201d the Version 9 STI combines aggressive styling, advanced drivetrain technology, and motorsport-proven engineering into one of the most iconic performance sedans of its era.<\/p>\n

At its heart is the revered EJ207 – a high-revving 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine officially rated at 280 PS (276 hp) and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft) of torque. Paired with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission and Subaru\u2019s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), the GDB-F delivers exceptional precision, balance, and traction in all driving conditions.<\/p>\n
