The GR Corolla was created under Toyota’s philosophy of “building ever-better cars starting from motorsports,” bringing to market a machine refined for winning races. The lineup includes the RZ, which preserves the practicality of the Corolla Sport’s five-door, five-seat layout while delivering both everyday usability and an engaging driving experience.

Its 1.6-liter inline-three turbo engine originally used in the GR Yaris has been further reinforced. Stronger pistons and an added center muffler improve durability and exhaust efficiency, enabling a maximum output of 224 kW (304 hp). The GR-FOUR sports 4WD system from the GR Yaris has also been optimized specifically for the GR Corolla through development insights gained from Toyota’s hydrogen-engine Corolla.
