Among its most notable versions was the E55 AMG, a high-performance estate that combined practicality with supercar-level performance.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by a 5.4\u2011liter V8 Kompressor (supercharged) engine, the E55 AMG delivered 476 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb\u2011ft) of torque, paired with a 5G\u2011TRONIC automatic transmission. This allowed the estate to accelerate from 0\u2013100 km\/h in 4.8 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km\/h (155 mph). Despite its performance, it retained full wagon utility with five doors, seating for five, and a cargo capacity ranging from 670 to 1,930 liters depending on configuration.<\/p>\n<p>The E55 AMG S211 stood out as one of the fastest and most powerful wagons of its era, blending AMG\u2019s motorsport engineering with Mercedes-Benz\u2019s luxury and safety features.
