Peugeot 207 RC was launched in 2007. It was avaible as 3-door hatchback and 5-door SW. RC version was equipted with 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine (THP), made by PSA with BMW collaboration. Its maximum output was 175HP and 240NM (260NM with overboost).
1.6 THP engine was equippted with Twin-Scroll turbocharger to give maximum power from lower RPM. Max torque is achievable at 1600RPMs and stays to 4500RPMs. On 1st and 2nd gear, turbocharger boost is set on 0.8 bar, but if you push on throttle hard, on 3nd, 4th and 5th gear is raise up to 1 bar from 1600 to 5200RPMs.
207 RC has stiffer suspension, better brakes, complex ESP system and even more. In the interior you can see alcantara, leather, aluminium pedal covers and aluminium gear knob. From outside you can see black-chrome cylindrical lense headlights, semi-chrome mirror covers, 17inch alloy rims “Pitlane”, big two chrome exhaust pipes, rear spoiler and RC badge on rear trunk.
