In the spring of 2011, Peugeot introduced a facelifted version of their popular 308 model, which also included an updated GTi variant for the 2012 model year. Equipment levels were generally good, including features like air conditioning, a CD stereo, power windows and mirrors, and safety features such as multiple airbags and electronic stability control.<\/p>\n
While the 2012 Peugeot 308 GTi offered a blend of practicality and performance, some reviews noted that its handling and chassis lacked the outright sharpness of some rivals, and the interior design was starting to feel a bit dated with some components carried over from earlier models.
