The Autobianchi Y10 Turbo is a jewel of the 1980s, combining urban agility with an injection of turbo adrenaline. Small in size but grand in personality, it offers a vibrant and exclusive driving experience for lovers of classics.
This is the top version for technique and performance, equipped with a supercharged engine in line with current trends. Identified by the code 156 A1.000, it is a variant of the 1049 cm³ engine of the Y10 touring, compared to which it is distinguished by the adoption of a twin-bore Weber 30/32 DMTR 103/251 carburetor and an IHI turbocharger with aria-aria intercooler, bypass valve and thermostatic valve, in addition to sodium chloride valves, special piston segments, high-resistance manifolds, electric fuel pump and "Digiplex" electronic ignition. In this configuration, it produces a maximum power of 85 HP at 5750 g/min and a maximum torque of 122.6 N-m at 2750 g/min,[4] allowing this version to reach 180 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. To manage this performance properly, 240 mm front brake discs are used (compared to 227 mm for normal versions) and wide tires are fitted as standard...

The Y10 turbo is distinguished from other versions by numerous characteristic features: in addition to the identification label on the door, there is a small chrome letter “turbo” on the calender, accompanied by an adhesive strip at the base of the ribbon with the letter “TURBO”; the chroming around the vectors (parabrezza, lunotto, vetri anteriori) is eliminated, while the paraurti have a specific design, with lower fascias of a different design and larger dimensions, as well as a pink decorative profile; the previous paraurti also have additional sanding plates and the possibility of using additional depth fascias. The coda also features a larger scarf terminal in shiny metal. Inside, there is a new steering wheel with a more sporty design, as well as tessellated seats, like the previous ones with a more aggressive design; as standard, the equipment provides for the installation of gauges, an oil thermometer and an oil pressure gauge on the main cylinder, as well as a supplementary gauge - installed under the aeration nozzle on the handlebars - for the engine's boost pressure (turbo gauge). When Solid State equipment is present, two digital indicators for the oil and turbo pressure gauges are located in the middle position above the nozzle.
