The Nissan GT-R R35, also known as the Gran Turismo-Racing, is a car built by Japanese marque Nissan since 2007. It was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007 and entered the European market one year later³. The GT-R R35 is considered both a sports car and a grand tourer. It has a 2+2 seating layout, and the engine is front-mid mounted, driving all four wheels.

The GT-R R35's engine was hand-built by only four specially trained mechanics. The engines were a 6-cylinder twin-turbo V6 with 480 hp that rocketed the GT-R to 100 kph in just 3.6 seconds. The power output varied over the years, starting from 353 kW (473 hp; 480 PS) in 2007–2008 to 419 kW (562 hp; 570 PS) in 2016–present.

The GT-R brand was revived as part of the Nissan Revival Plan. The car is built on the PM platform, derived from the FM platform used in the Skyline and Nissan Z models. The GT-R R35 featured innovative concepts and technologies, such as advanced aerodynamics, the VR38DETT engine, an active suspension system, and the ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel-drive system. This made it the first-ever rear-mounted independent transaxle all-wheel-drive vehicle.
