-The Tavria Nova modification is a completely modernized vehicle, the design of which was modified in 1998 by the Ukrainian-Korean company AvtoZAZ-DEU to improve technical and operational performance and eliminate identified shortcomings. Almost all components and assemblies were modernized.
-The result was the start of serial production of two modifications: “Tavria in transition and the modernized Tavria Nova. “The Tavria in transition is practically the same car that was produced before. The only difference is the quality of its manufacture, which has been brought to the requirements set by the designers when designing this model.
-The body, due to the increased thickness of individual parts, has become stronger and stiffer, reinforcements for the front pillars, door openings and rear spar have been introduced, tightness has been improved, additional vibration-absorbing pads have been installed, and gaps between body parts have been reduced. To increase engine life and improve its performance, better materials were used in the manufacture of the power unit, the quality of parts and assembly was improved, the optimal thermal conditions of the power unit were ensured by a more powerful electric fan, the exhaust system was equipped with a muffler made of corrosion-resistant steel and a stronger flange of the intake exhaust pipe.
-The car was fitted with a powerful starter and alternator, a new ignition coil with increased spark energy, a more reliable fan switch sensor with gold-plated contacts, Czech block headlights with a light flux hydro-corrector, and a high-precision ceramic resistor for the fuel level sensor.
