The MX‑5 NE 2.0 version features larger wheels (17" rims compared to the 16" wheels of the 1.5) along with slightly wider tyres and a firmer suspension setup. Thanks to the use of carbon fibre components, the impact of the larger wheels on overall mass has been kept to just 6 kg.
