Designed by Jordan Rubinstein-Towler, the fictitious DC8-generation Integra Type R is a modern-day interpretation of Hondas iconic high-performance sports coupe, originally produced from 1995 to 2006. Designed by Jordan Rubinstein-Towler, the fictitious DC8-generation Integra Type R is a modern-day interpretation of Hondas iconic high-performance sports coupe, originally produced from 1995 to 2006. Intended to be a lighter, quicker, and more agile alternative to the FL5 Civic Type R, the DC8 features minimal creature comforts, a shorter wheelbase, and a significantly smaller form factor.
For sharper response and quicker revs, the turbocharged engine from the FL5 is eschewed in favor of a naturally-aspirated 2.4-litre engine producing 278 BHP at 8500 RPM. This engine is bolted to a close-ratio 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, driving the front wheels.
The forged wheels are sourced from Enkei, and wear 265-section Bridgestone Potenza high-performance tires. Braking comes courtesy of slotted and vented rotors with Brembo calipers.
